Job summary

NHS Grampian invites applications for a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse to join the Integrated Alcohol Service in Aberdeen City. You will work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team to assess, plan and provide ongoing support to individuals with alcohol-related mental health needs.

The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with flexible working arrangements considered. Driving licence not essential but occasional home visits may be required.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Nurse with experience in community settings.
• Strong risk assessment and safeguarding skills.
• Ability to engage with individuals with complex alcohol-related needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients and plan care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Develop and implement care plans and provide ongoing support.
• Contribute to service development within alcohol services and mental health care.
• Engage with individuals in community/home settings as required.
