What you will be doing

As a qualified Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD), you will ensure children and young people in this specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork. The wards are busy, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, and a good amount of routine and variety.

Day-to-day responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users
  • Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care
  • Providing mentorship and support to team members
  • Observing, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided

Where you will be working

Location: Shepherds Way, Brookmans Park, Hatfield AL9 6NN. Rhodes Wood Hospital is a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 12 up to 18 years. Each treatment programme is tailored to the needs of the young person.
