Wirral Single Point of Access is looking to recruit an experienced, qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMHN). The post requires a minimum of 1 year post‑registration experience and will involve working within a multidisciplinary team across Wirral, supporting the transformation of Community Mental Health Services and providing assessment and signposting for adults and older adults with mental health problems.
The Mental Health Nurse will demonstrate a high level of clinical skills, experience within mental health at least to band 5 level, and the ability to write clear reports and assess complex patients. The post is autonomous and independent, requiring travel across a wide geographical area; access to a car and a full driving licence are essential.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires a Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
