Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is recruiting an Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) for day or night shifts in a Lancashire mental health service, focusing on children and adolescents. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, delivering safe, person-centred care and adhering to NMC standards and clinical guidelines.

The role requires an active NMC RMN registration with at least 1 year post-qualification experience and a commitment to safeguarding and best-practice care for young people.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration as RMN.
• Minimum 1 year post-registration.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act, safeguarding procedures, and NICE guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to young people, ensuring care is safe and tailored to individual needs.
• Build positive therapeutic relationships with young people, families, carers and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Promote independence, choice and empowerment, helping young people make informed decisions about their care.
• Lead by example with professionalism, compassion, respect and integrity in all practice aspects.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
• Ensure compliance with NMC standards, safeguarding procedures and policies and legislation.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive and inclusive team culture and share best practice.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and deliver evidence-based care per current guidelines.
• Champion continuous improvement to enhance service quality and safety.

What We’re Looking For

• Active NMC registration as anRMN
