Job summary

Independent is recruiting Specialist Mentors (Mental Health) to provide tailored one-to-one support to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Qualifications

• Experience of providing one-to-one support to individuals with mental health difficulties.
• Training and professional membership as required by NMH provider standards.
• Substantial experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional specialist mentoring for students with mental health difficulties and neurodivergent conditions.
• Conduct initial assessment of students, including risk assessment for complex mental health needs.
• Select approaches relevant to the individual's needs or refer to other services.
• Manage a caseload of work with a diverse student cohort.
