Job summary

Jersey Evening Post is seeking a caring care assistant to support adults with mental health needs in their own homes or supported living environments.

You will write and review care plans, risk assessments and other care documentation, and assist the Team Leader with meetings, handovers and team communication. A driving licence is essential and 1–2 years' experience is required. Overseas applicants are not being considered at this time.

Qualifications

• QCF Level 2 or equivalent is advantageous/beneficial.
• A valid driving licence is essential.
• 1–2 years' experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Writing and reviewing care plans, risk assessments and other care documentation.
• Supporting the Team Leader with meetings, handovers and team communication.
• Provide person-centred care, emotional support, medication assistance, daily living support, personal care and community access.
