A supportive and inclusive specialist school in Newbury is looking for a Mental Health Assistant to join their dedicated team. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for individuals seeking practical experience before pursuing a career in mental health, psychology, counselling, or education.

As a Mental Health Assistant, you will work with pupils who have needs such as Autism, ADHD, anxiety, low mood, and emotional regulation difficulties. The role focuses on building trusting relationships, promoting positive coping strategies, and supporting students to engage with learning in a safe and nurturing environment.

  • Pay: £89-£100 per day
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
