Qualifications

  • Experience working in an administrative/secretarial environment.

  • Comprehensive experience with Microsoft packages essential.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, with ability to prioritise workload.
  • No previous experience of mental health law required; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate administration and recording of Mental Health Act activity.
  • Act as point of contact for the team and provide administrative support.
  • Undertake communication with clinical staff and record details.
  • Maintain filing systems daily and open incoming mail.
  • Print documentation and prepare section papers for Mental Health Review Tribunal.
  • Attend Mental Health Act team meetings.
