Job summary

The Football Association is seeking a Men's Technical Director to shape and deliver a world-class development pathway for men’s teams below the U21 level. You will lead the Technical Division, align strategies, and drive excellence in coaching, player development, and talent identification across England’s pathway.

You will collaborate with the Men's Sporting Director and other FA leaders to ensure the pathway supports progression, readiness to win, and gets the best from emerging talent.

Qualifications

Proven track record of leading high performing teams in elite settings.
Evidence of coaching/technical leadership within an elite development environment.
Experience in English professional game or top-tier national pathways.
Ability to manage multiple internal stakeholders in a matrix organisation.

Responsibilities

Oversee development and performance of men’s development teams below U21 level.
Ensure the Technical Division is aligned behind one plan and a strong culture.
Lead and deliver the 24-28 strategy for the Men’s Technical Division.
Develop and implement frameworks for talent identification and recruitment across performance and potential.
