Job summary

The University of Manchester’s UoM Sport invites applications for a part-time rugby coaching role supporting the Men’s 1st and 2nd teams. You will deliver high-quality coaching, lead two weekly training sessions, and help monitor performance within BUCS.

Based at Armitage Sports Centre in Fallowfield, the role combines practical coaching with player management and team development, contributing to BUCS league and cup campaigns.

Qualifications

Rugby union coaching qualifications and experience at performance level
Strong organisation and player management skills
Committed to improving team performance in BUCS competition

Responsibilities

Deliver quality coaching to the Men’s Rugby Union 1st and 2nd teams
Lead two 1.5-hour training sessions a week (Mondays and Fridays, 18:00–19:30)
Manage, organise and monitor team performance
Improve the club’s performance in BUCS league and cup competitions

Working within UoM Sport, you will deliver quality coaching and manage, organise and monitor performance for the club’s 1st and 2nd teams, who play at performance level in the UoM Sport Pathway, competing in BUCS leagues between October and March and the BUCS cup.
