Location: Hybrid/Brighton

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £40,000 - dependent on experience

Itad is increasingly partnering with UK government departments, agencies and philanthropies to deliver high‑quality Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) services for domestic programmes. This builds on our strong reputation for rigorous evaluation, evidence synthesis, and advisory work across international development and public policy. Purpose

Support MEL delivery and business development in UK domestic MEL market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluation scoping and evidence synthesis.
  • Support design of process and impact evaluations.
  • Manage data collection (surveys, interviews, monitoring systems) and maintain compliance with ethical and data protection standards.
  • Draft high‑quality evaluation reports, visualisations and presentations for clients and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and compliance with ethical and data protection standards.
  • Produce clear, evidence‑based findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Contribute to bid development by drafting sections and supporting proposal preparation.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities in the UK domestic MEL market and share best practices.
Essential Skills
  • 3–7 years in MEL/evaluation or social research.
  • Familiarity with UK Gov procurement.
  • Strong research and market analysis skills.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Experience delivering MEL services across UK government departments.
  • Ability to undertake, supervise, clean and analyse data.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
