Job summary

Costain are delivering AMP8/9 projects in the North West, with MEICA focus on United Utilities assets. The role is site-based in Windermere, Cumbria, with office, remote and site-based work across the project lifecycle.

We seek a proactive MEICA Project Engineer capable of leading safety, design coordination and relation management to deliver high-quality outcomes on complex water and wastewater schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering MEICA packages across the project lifecycle.
• Ability to engage and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Excellent knowledge of regulations including CDM and site safety requirements.
• Understanding of engineering technical standards.
• Experience managing subcontract teams and contracts.
• Driven to improve performance through process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Promote health, safety and wellbeing in design and delivery.
• Manage MEICA packages, design, installation and coordination.
• Support HAZOP/HAZCON and project meetings as required.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to sequence construction, programme and budget.
• Develop MEICA interfaces with wider delivery and ensure compliant solutions.
• Coordinate with pre-construction, delivery and supply chain teams to drive safe, efficient delivery.
