Village Hotels in Elstree is seeking a Meeting & Events Assistant to join the Elstree Meetings & Events Team. You will greet guests with confidence, ensure they are looked after, and help create memorable experiences across corporate conferences and celebrations.

You will set up spaces to brand standards, handle AV equipment, and provide hospitality with energy. Previous experience is helpful, but attitude and team fit matter most for this busy team.

• Space & Standards: Setting up and servicing meeting and event spaces to exact specifications and brand standards.
• Tech Savvy Operations: Operate AV equipment safely and smoothly for presentations and events.
• Food & Drink Flare: Serve refreshments, meals, and drinks with product knowledge to upsell.
• Pride in the House: Keep spaces organized and equipment stored after shifts.
• Shift Safety: Comply with Health and Safety, Fire Regulations, Food Safety and Licensing.

The Role Outline: Your Shift at a Glance Your focus is to deliver the highest professional standards of service for our customers across a brilliant variety of events, from corporate conferences to big celebrations. Your Shift: What You'll Actually Be Doing

• Space & Standards: Setting up and servicing our meeting and event spaces to exact specifications and brand standards, always keeping a keen eye for detail.
• Tech Savvy Operations: Getting confident with our tech to operate AV equipment safely, efficiently, and smoothly for our clients during presentations and events.
• Food & Drink Flare: Serving up refreshments, meals, and drinks with confidence and flare, utilizing your product knowledge to spot upselling opportunities at every turn.
• Pride in the House: Keeping our spaces organized by ensuring all event equipment is stored away correctly and safely after a busy shift.
• Shift Safety: Participating in full compliance with Health and Safety, Fire Regulations, Food Safety, and Licensing laws to keep a safe environment for everyone.
