Job summary

Medical Engineers Recruitment in Bradford is seeking a Design Engineer to own R&D projects from concept to CE-marked product in a hybrid Bradford-based role. You'll lead allocated projects, perform CAD and FEA work, develop Design History Files, and shape risk management to ISO 14971 within a collaborative team with visible impact.

This role requires at least 2 years in medical devices, ISO 13485 exposure, strong CAD skills, and a UK driving licence with occasional travel between sites.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in medical devices, ideally with ISO 13485 and design documentation exposure.
• Strong CAD skills and confidence producing manufacturable engineering drawings.
• A UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionaly between sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead allocated R&D projects from concept through to CE-marked product.
• Build Design History Files and carry out CAD/FEA work that ships.
• Shape design risk management to ISO 14971 within a close-knit team.
