Job summary

Skilled Solutions is expanding its self-employed delivery driver network in East London. Routes are full-day at a daily rate of £180.34, paid weekly, with work available up to six days a week, collected from our depot in Barking.

Duties include loading your vehicle, performing a daily vehicle inspection, following a pre-planned route, delivering parcels to multiple destinations within a designated area, and returning to the depot for unloading and debrief.

Qualifications

• You must have held a full UK or EU driver's licence for a minimum of 1 year.
• We cannot accept international driving licences.
• A DBS check is required as part of the recruitment process.
• Deliveries must be completed using a van, not a car.

Responsibilities

• Load your vehicle and complete a daily vehicle inspection before departure.
• Follow a pre-planned route with navigation provided within our client's mobile app and deliver parcels to multiple destinations.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and safe deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
• Return to the delivery station to unload and debrief if required.

About the role:

Skilled Solutions is expanding its self-employed delivery driver network in East London. Routes are full-day at a daily rate of £180.34, paid weekly, with work available up to six days a week, collected from our depot in Barking.

Duties Include:

Starting your day at our client's delivery station. You'll be responsible for loading your vehicle and completing a daily vehicle inspection before departure. Following a pre-planned route with navigation provided within our client's mobile app, you'll deliver parcels to multiple destinations within a designated geographical area, ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries while providing excellent customer service. Once you've completed your route, you may be required to return to the delivery station to unload and debrief.

Availability is flexible across all 7 days of the week — our depot is open Monday to Sunday
Fuel paid on a per mile basis
Paid weekly, 1 or 2 weeks in arrears (1 for own vehicle/2 if we supply the vehicle)
All training paid
Fully insured rental vehicles available from £37.85 per day

Potential Earning Calculator:

Below are projected earnings based on the days you work and whether the van is your own or rented from us.

• 4 days: £721.36 a week with your own van, £456.41 if you rent one from us
• 5 days: £901.70 a week with your own van, £636.75 if you rent one from us
• 6 days: £1,082.04 a week with your own van, £817.09 if you rent one from us

Recruitment Requirements:
