Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in Sutton is seeking a Medicines Procurement Lead Technician (Band 6). You will lead procurement for licensed medicines, support Named Patient and Unlicensed medicines, and supervise two Purchasing Officers across sites.

You will manage contracts, stock levels for high cost drugs, and oversee invoices and KPIs. The role requires GPhC-registered technicians with hospital experience, flexibility across sites, and availability for evenings/weekends/bank

Qualifications

• GPhC-registered pharmacy technicians with hospital pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for licensed medicines and support Named Patient/Unlicensed medicines.
• Line manage two Purchasing Officers and coordinate contract changes.
• Manage stock levels for high-cost drugs and oversee invoicing and KPI reporting.
• Provide training and act as super user for pharmacy systems and dispensing equipment.
