Job description
Overview

This post is offered as a Band 4 developmental position, with the opportunity to progress to Band 5 once the agreed competencies are met within a set time period following a successful appointment. Should you already meet the required competencies, this post can be offered at Band 5.

NELFT is seeking a Rotational Medicine Management Pharmacy Technician to join our innovative pharmacy team. This role will support the team, department, and organisation in achieving patient centred care. NELFT provide a wide range of community and mental health services to a large population across Kent, Essex and North East London. We are looking for a highly motivated and high-performing Medicine Management Pharmacy Technician to join this growing team. The role will provide patient-facing clinical services across our inpatient wards and community teams.

  • Starting with NELFT: New starters join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training, systems training and equipment allocation. Induction includes meetings with the executive team, senior managers and drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. Induction held at the head office in Rainham, Essex.
  • Probationary Period: This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from probation (subject to current internal status).
  • High Cost Area Supplement – Outer London: 15% of the basic salary (minimum £4,714 to maximum £5,941 per annum, pro rata for part time).
