Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Typist to support General Medicine in the Medicine and Emergency Care Division. The role focuses on comprehensive typing and clerical support for Consultants and junior medical staff, including audio typing, word processing, filing, and managing patient records.

Applicants should have IT skills, GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, and relevant office/secretarial experience.

Qualifications

• Typing and clerical support to Consultants and junior medical staff.
• Strong IT skills and accurate data handling in a clinical setting.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities essential for NHS work.

Responsabilités

• Audio typing and general word processing tasks.
• Filing, photocopying, handling post and patient records.
• Answering telephone calls and handling routine enquiries.
• Retrieving and returning patient records to the appropriate staff.
• Provide comprehensive typing and clerical cover for the Medicine and Emergency Care Division.
