A respected healthcare organization in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary Supervisor to provide administrative support for CAMHS Consultants. The ideal candidate will have experience with TrakCare, excellent audio-typing skills, and a strong grasp of medical terminology. Applicants should demonstrate high levels of concentration and the ability to manage their own workload effectively. This full-time position requires 37 hours of work per week and offers an opportunity to contribute to a vital service.

With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week, there will be no change in full time pay.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Medical Secretary Supervisor to provide an efficient and confidential secretarial and administrative service to the CAMHS Consultants and their clinical team.
You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support for a range of clinicians within CAMHS. Applicants should have experience of TrakCare. Accurate keyboard and excellent audio-typing skills are essential, with knowledge of Medical Terminology. Experience of NHS Tayside administration systems is desirable. Ability to work as part of a team with excellent communication skills is essential.
High levels of concentration are required in this challenging but rewarding environment and requires the ability to manage own workload with a degree of autonomy, forward plan and problem solve when required.
We are keen to hear from people who have previous secretarial/administrative experience and possess excellent organisational skills. The successful candidate should have a pleasant and friendly manner with excellent communication skills.
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
