Overview

We are currently recruiting a forward thinking, reliable, enthusiastic established administration professional to join our busy administration team as a Medical Secretary based at Alfred Barrow Health Centre, aligned to the Specialist Network.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent administration and communication skills and work flexibly in response to the service needs.
  • Provide a comprehensive secretarial, administration and information service to the specified Consultant(s) and the Multi-Disciplinary Team.
  • Facilitate the organisation of the workload for the Consultant(s) and co-ordinate activities with other medical Secretaries and administration colleagues to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
  • Provide day to day support to the CAMHS team and administration colleagues.
  • Manage competing demands and priorities with strong time management skills.
Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
  • Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office and other systems.
  • Significant administration experience, including minute taking and audio typing.
  • Highly motivated, capable of working on own initiative with a minimum level of supervision.
