Job summary

A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Medical Secretary for a part-time position (13.5 hours per week). The ideal candidate will have strong telephone and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure as part of a team. Knowledge of Microsoft applications and medical terminology is essential. This is a fixed-term role until March 31, 2027, based in Perth Royal Infirmary.

A vacancy has arisen within NHS Tayside Children’s Speech and Language Therapy Service, Administrative & Clerical team, for a Band 3, Medical Secretary, 13.5 hours per week. The service is based in Perth Royal Infirmary.

The post holder will work well under pressure and will require a good telephone manner, communication skills and typing skills.

The post holder must be capable of working as part of a team.

There is a requirement to have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Medical Terminology.
