A leading NHS Trust in Wythenshawe is seeking a Medical Secretary/Administrator for the Palliative Care Team. The role includes providing comprehensive administrative support, managing communication queries, and organizing appointments. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication, organizational, and typing skills along with medical terminology knowledge. This position offers a chance to contribute to patient care in a supportive setting and meet diversity and inclusion goals.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Palliative Care Team as a Medical Secretary/Administrator.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills, strong typing skills and knowledge of medical terminology to ensure provision of a high quality and efficient administrative/secretarial service to the palliative medicine consultants and the clinical nurse specialist team.
You must have good attention to detail together with the ability to prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines. Duties will include dealing with telephone enquiries, letters, email, diaries, chasing deadlines, collation of information/results for reports and typing of clinic letters.
