Medical Secretary - Winchester

£14 per hour | Temporary Position | December Cover

We\'re looking for an experienced and organised Medical Secretary to provide holiday cover for an orthopaedic surgeon based in Winchester in December. If you\'re confident managing a busy schedule, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and already have a current DBS, we\'d love to hear from you! This is a temporary role with the potential for future cover opportunities, perfect if you enjoy variety and flexibility in your work.

Responsibilities
  • Handling calls promptly and professionally, arranging consultations and bookings
  • Managing a busy diary, scheduling meetings and appointments with precision
  • Carrying out general secretarial duties to keep the practice running smoothly
What We\'re Looking For (Qualifications)
  • Proven experience as a Medical Secretary (orthopaedic or similar experience ideal)
  • A valid DBS check
  • Confident working independently and taking initiative
  • Excellent communication skills and a sharp eye for detail
  • Skilled in diary management and comfortable using bespoke databases
  • Familiarity with CAREBIT and Ultragenda would be an advantage
The Details
  • Dates: 15th-19th December and potentially the 22nd and 23rd December (with a few training hours the week prior)
  • Hours: 9am-4pm
  • Location: Winchester - on-site parking provided
