A healthcare provider in Swanscombe is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join their team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with systems like EMIS and Docman, have experience in a GP practice, and be skilled in producing medical reports and letters. We are looking for a Medical Secretary to join our growing team. Candidates will be familiar with Office Word, EMIS, Docman, Anima, DXS and eRS, or similar systems. The role will include producing medical reports and letters, so ideally they will have experience within a GP practice, of liaising with other healthcare agencies, patients, and the in-house clinical/non clinical team. We would like someone to join us full time, but will consider part time for the right candidate.

We have a team of over 100 staff throughout 8 sites, including GPs, a Paramedic Practitioner, Clinical Pharmacists, Physicians Associates, a Physiotherapist, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Social Prescribers and the administrative support workers, who deliver care to 37.5k patients. Even with a large team, we work closely together and regularly have PLTs and social events.

The following are the core responsibilities ofthe Medical Secretary in delivering health services. There may be, on occasion,a requirement to carry out other tasks. This will be dependent upon factorssuch as workload and staffing levels:
Attend a formal appraisal with their manager at least every 12 months. Once a performance/training objective has been set, progress will be reviewed on a regular basis so that new objectives can be agreed
