A healthcare organization in London is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join the Medical Secretariat Team. The role entails providing effective secretarial support to consultants and their teams, managing communications with confidentiality. Candidates must possess strong organizational and communication skills, along with previous experience in a medical setting. This is a fixed-term position offering an opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our current experienced Medical Secretariat Team within EMRS Division at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust on a 9 month fixed term basis. By the nature of the duties, the post holder will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with patients, carers, relatives, medical staff and other visitors within the Division in person and/or in writing, with courtesy and discretion at all times.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Secretary who can provide a competent and effective Secretarial Service to Consultants and their teams within EMRS Division. The post holder must be able to work with limited supervision, use own initiative, keep to strict deadlines and have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Previous experience working as a Medical Secretary is essential. You should have knowledge of office equipment and systems along with word/processing/typing or equivalent and knowledge of Medical Terminology.
