We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Secretary for 16 hours per week (Monday or Tuesday and Friday). To provide a comprehensive secretarial service to the Doctors and Health Professionals assisting them in achieving their objectives and to liaise with all relevant and appropriate services.
You will be responsible for processing referrals, typing correspondence and medical reports, and ensuring all documentation meets NHS standards and confidentiality requirements.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably within a GP practice or similar medical setting. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with complete discretion are essential. Proficiency in medical terminology, excellent communication skills, and competency with SystmOne would be highly advantageous.
