Job summary

Alignerr seeks experienced Medical Science Liaisons (MSL) for AI training in medical content evaluation. This remote hourly contract role requires 10–40 hours per week, focusing on clinical accuracy and scientific communication for life-science AI systems.

Ideal candidates have medical affairs, clinical research, or scientific communications backgrounds and are comfortable critiquing complex biomedical content at scale. Flexible scheduling and ongoing opportunities are available.

• Review AI-generated medical content for accuracy and clarity for HCP audiences.

• Help develop scientific communication strategies embedded in AI training datasets.
• Contribute to QA processes ensuring medical integrity across AI outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously on own schedule.

We're looking for experienced Medical Science Liaisons to help evaluate and improve AI systems built for the life-science and healthcare space. Your clinical knowledge and scientific communication expertise will directly shape how AI understands, interprets, and conveys complex medical data — making a real impact on the future of healthcare AI.

This is a remote, flexible contract role designed for working medical affairs professionals, clinical researchers, and scientific communicators who want to apply their expertise in a new and high-impact way.

What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate AI-generated medical and clinical content for scientific accuracy, clarity, and appropriateness for healthcare professional (HCP) audiences
• Validate clinical summaries, trial interpretations, and biomedical narratives against current evidence and regulatory standards
• Identify errors, gaps, or misleading representations in AI outputs and provide structured, expert feedback
• Help develop and refine scientific communication strategies embedded in AI training datasets
• Contribute to quality assurance processes that ensure medical integrity across AI models and outputs
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Background in medical affairs, clinical research, or scientific communications with direct experience engaging healthcare professionals
• Strong ability to interpret clinical trial data, peer-reviewed publications, and regulatory materials
• Experience in a field-based or externally facing medical role — MSL, clinical educator, medical monitor, or scientific advisor
• Comfortable evaluating and critiquing complex biomedical content at scale
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and reliable

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, content evaluation, or AI quality assurance workflows
• Familiarity with pharmacovigilance, HEOR, or medical writing
• Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, or a related field (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent)
