Job description

We are looking for a bright, ambitious, motivated and enthusiastic Medical Sales Representative in the Scotland, UK to join the UK subsidiary of TRB Chemedica International, an innovative, research-based bio-technology company specialising in the manufacture of bio-synthetic treatments for a variety of medical conditions. As a territory sales representative, you will be the vital link between the manufacturer and the healthcare professionals. You will build relationships with new and existing customers, educating and demonstrating the value of our products in order to achieve your personal sales targets.

Responsibilities
  • Promote our Orthopaedic, Imaging and Ophthalmic products to customers across the NHS, private practice and elite sports in order to achieve the quarterly territory targets
  • Negotiate pricing and agreements across a matrix of departments within the healthcare services
  • Attend conferences and exhibitions both regionally, nationally and internationally, providing expert guidance and information to delegates
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Maintain your territory database
  • Write a monthly report summarising your activity
  • Gather information on current markets, competitor activity and account status
  • Develop excellent product and industry knowledge (including selling skills and understanding the complexities of the NHS structure)
  • Work independently in the planning and organisation of your diary
  • Initiate, organise and carry-out sales presentations
  • Pass an ABPI qualification following a successful probationary period

Account management or sales experience
