Medical Receptionist

Indigo Medical is looking for a friendly Medical Receptionist to work across our three surgery sites on a FT, rotational basis (40 hours per week, M-F between 07:45–18:15 plus occasional Saturday mornings).

Main Duties

• Ensuring all visitors and telephone callers to the practice are greeted professionally
• Managing the flow of patients arriving at the reception desk, for appointments, prescriptions or queries and to book patients in for surgeries and clinics
• Ensuring that prescriptions are generated accurately and efficiently
• Dealing with patient enquiries efficiently and courteously
• Accurately taking and passing on telephone messages
