A healthcare provider in the UK is looking for full-time or part-time receptionists to join their team. The role involves providing high-quality reception and administrative services, supporting patients and healthcare professionals. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills, administrative experience, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. The Ivy Medical Group is looking for either 1 x full time or 2 x part time receptionist(s) to join the team to provide a high level of Reception and administrative services to patients, doctors, nurses and other members of the practice team, ensuring all processes are carried out to practice standard and policy. Our practice is a friendly, interesting and rewarding place to work giving a high level of care to our patients.
Hours required are
Monday 08:00 - 18:30
Tuesday 08:00 - 18:30
Friday 08:00 - 18:30
If the job is full time then the days will be 9.5 hours per day with 1 hour unpaid lunch.
If the job was shared over 2 successful candidates then the shifts could be split into half days. 08:00 - 14:00 or 13:30 - 18:30

To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing of information and assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
