Hawkesley Medical Practice is looking to recruit a new Receptionist/Administrator to join our dynamic team following a member of the team retiring from the Practice.
You will work with us to provide a first-class level of reception and administration service to help us deliver a high level of care to our patients.
We are looking for people with at least 12 months administration experience in an office environment, excellent interpersonal skills, competent in IT, and people who are adaptable to change and flexible with good customer skills.
We are a small, friendly Practice set in the heart of the community in Kings Norton and we deliver excellent patient care to approximately 4500 patients.
We have two GP Partners and three Salaried GPs who are supported by the Practice Manager, Nursing team, Health Care Assistants and the Reception/Admin team.
Our emphasis is very much on our patients' needs and our team and we are therefore looking for people who have the ability to really understand and empathise and who are team players.
The Practice is very busy and this is an exciting challenge for the right person.
We offer 5 weeks' annual leave plus Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part-time employees) and an extra day off for your Birthday!
Main Purpose:
To provide reception and administrative supportto assist in the day-to-day running of the Practice.
General:
As part of the Reception team, you are employedto undertake reception and administrative duties as deemed suitable by the Practice Manager. The role involves dealing with patients via the telephone andface-to-face as they come into the Practice.
You are required to use the Practice computer systems and MS Office software. You are required to have good computer skills,along with the ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload in a timelymanner.
You are required to act in a professionalmanner at all times and adhere to a strict confidentiality policy, as well as other practice policies and guidelines.
