A local healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated medical receptionist to support clinical staff and manage back-office tasks. The ideal candidate will be patient and organized with excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include audio typing for GPs, managing patient appointments, and handling clinical correspondence. Experience in a similar role is preferred. This full-time position is focused on providing compassionate care to the community.

As a medical receptionist, you will work as part of a team that complete the back office tasks. You will complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and will multitask and prioritise to get this work done. You will support clinical staff and problem solve for patients and displace exceptional communication skills. You may also be asked to cover reception duties from time to time.
The ideal candidate will have a positive and calm manner, be compassionate, patient and understanding, be well organised and able to work systematically and be able to follow procedures and protocols closely. They will have good IT skills and be brilliant with people. They will need to be able to work in a busy environment, being helpful and efficient when communicating with other staff and patients. Experience in a similar role is preferred.
