A healthcare facility in Kenilworth is seeking a part-time receptionist for up to 33.5 hours for maternity cover, with potential for a permanent role. Responsibilities include supporting patients, answering calls, booking appointments, and various admin duties. Experience in a GP practice is preferred, but training will be provided. We are looking for a part time receptionist for up to 33.5 hours for maternity cover (with a view to a permanent role for the right candidate) for our friendly, helpful reception team.
There may also be an additional part time role available on a permanent basis.
Experience of working in a GP Practice is preferred but full training will be offered.
The main duties of the role are:
Helping and supporting patients both in person and on the phone, covering all roles within the team on a rotation basis.
Answering telephone calls and supporting patients with our online triage system.
Booking appointments by phone, messaging or in person on behalf of the triaging doctor.
Using EMIS, our computerised patient system.
Admin duties including completion of tasks, sorting and opening post, scanning of patient documents and letters and dealing with queries.
