Job summary

Your World is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Assistant for a locum position in London. The role offers hourly pay of £16-£17 and requires availability across three shift patterns: 07:00-15:00, 09:00-17:00, and 11:00-19:00. A right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship is not provided.

The successful candidate will handle block and slide filing, block scraping, H&E bench management, and digital pathology tasks, with access to our comprehensive benefits package and support services.

Job description

This Biomedical Science position is suitable for an experienced Medical Laboratory Assistant Required London to apply on a locum basis to start as a locum with a pay of £16 - £17 P/H.

Beneficial criteria to help be successful in this BMS role include the following:

• Block and slide filing


• Block scraping


• Managing the H&E bench, including collating cases


• Digital pathology

They would also need to be available to work the following shift patterns:

• 07:00 to 15:00


• 09:00 to 17:00


• 11:00 to 19:00


• Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)
