Job summary

A prominent NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a Medical HR Leader to oversee the high-quality delivery of Medical HR services. The candidate will support the Assistant Director of Human Resources and lead corporate projects aligned with the Trust's Medical Workforce Strategy. Job overview

To support the Assistant Director of Human Resources in the provision of a high-quality Medical HR service across the Trust.

Main duties of the job

As a member of the Corporate WOD team, the role supports the Medical Director's Office in the development and delivery of the Trust's Medical Workforce Strategy and policies to ensure that Medical HR services are fully integrated to the needs of the Trust.

To lead on corporate pieces of project work as directed by the Assistant Director of Workforce and OD. Projects will include implementation of medical staff contracts, e-job planning, recruitment and selection strategy including international recruitment and non-contract spend.

The postholder leads the Medical Director Office/Medical HR support team.

Essential criteria
  • Highly specialist knowledge of Medical HR/HR to Masters level equivalent acquired through degree and professional HR qualifications plus additional training or equivalent experience
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)

You may be required to undertake a DBS. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost (Enhanced £54.40, Standard £26.40 or Basic £26.40) from your salary when you commence in post (including Internal staff). You will also be required to participate in the DBS Update Service and pay the £16 cost per year. This is a condition of your employment.
