Job description

The post holder is responsible to the Medical Education Manager for managing and supporting medical education programmes within the Trust in the areas of Postgraduate Medical and the Education Centre. There are currently over 900 resident doctors in training, with 150 of them being in year 2 of the Foundation Programme.

Responsibilities
  • Administration of the Year 2 Foundation Training Programme for Resident Doctors in Training and support of the Joint Foundation Year 1 and 2 Core Teaching.
  • Organise, advise, plan, manage and support relevant areas of the training programme.
  • Act as the Committee Administrator for the Foundation Education Governance Group.
  • Organise, support and participate in bi-annual reviews and final annual review of training (ARCPs) for year 1 and year 2 foundation doctors.
