About the role

Reporting to the Global Editorial Team Lead, the Medical Editor is responsible for reviewing and editing a wide range of materials in a timely manner while adhering to company and client style guides. The Medical Editor ensures that all work is in line with editorial policies and standards.

Key responsibilities
  • Editing scientific content, including slide decks, manuscripts, and scientific communications, to congress, journal, and client specifications.
  • Preparing documents for teams within budgeted timelines.
  • Assisting teams with preparing journal and congress submissions as required.
  • Collaborating with teams to achieve common goals.
About you

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a medical editing role, preferably in a medical communications agency or related industry.
  • Ability to review, comprehend, and revise complex medical and scientific materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize projects and manage workload.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong ability to work as part of an effective team.
  • Flexibility to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
