Job summary

FedBucks Ltd is seeking an experienced Medical Director to provide executive clinical leadership across its diverse services in Buckinghamshire, shaping primary, urgent and community care for over 550,000 residents. The role combines clinical excellence with system-wide impact and partnership with Primary Care Networks and Integrated Care Board.

The post requires maintaining active clinical practice, governance oversight, and a track record of service transformation and quality improvement

Qualifications

• Significant senior clinical leadership experience within the NHS.
• Experience of operating at senior management, executive or Board level.
• Experience of leading multidisciplinary clinical teams and services.
• Experience of developing and implementing clinical strategy.
• Demonstrable experience of delivering service transformation and quality improvement programmes that have resulted in measurable benefits for patients.
• Experience of clinical governance, patient safety, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Experience of incident investigation, complaints management and clinical audit.
• Experience of workforce development, clinical supervision and professional leadership.
• Experience of working collaboratively with clinicians, managers, commissioners and partner organisations.
• Experience of influencing and working across organisational boundaries within integrated care systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, credible and responsive clinical leadership across FedBucks to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care.
• Maintain active clinical practice with regular programmed sessions.
• Lead strategic direction for primary, urgent and community healthcare across Buckinghamshire.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning and high performance across the clinical workforce.
