Job summary

Newton Colmore is seeking an Electronics Engineer – Programme Manager for Cambridge-based roles. You will lead multiple electro-mechanical medical device projects, combining hands-on electronics design with mentoring junior staff to drive impactful healthcare technologies.

The role requires strong EN60601 and ISO 13485 knowledge, and a proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver regulatory-compliant products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience in Medical Devices electronics is essential.
• Strong ability to mentor others and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead electro-mechanical medical device projects with hands-on electronics design where appropriate.
• Mentor and coordinate junior team members and stakeholders.
• Provide updates and manage changes through regular communication, virtually and in person.
• Apply EN60601 and ISO 13485 throughout product development lifecycle.
• Collaborate on lifesaving medical device technologies with wide impact.
