Job summary

Sapien Engineering is partnering with a London-based Medical Device start-up to recruit a Medical Device Engineer at an early career stage. You will work hands-on, assembling, prototyping and testing devices to meet regulatory standards, with long-term path to design/development leadership.

The role suits recent graduates or those in early career. A degree in Engineering or Physics is required, prior lab or device experience is a plus, and you should be curious, proactive and capable of reading

Qualifications

• Degree educated within Engineering, Physics or related technical field.
• Ideally experience within device assembly, testing or lab work (not essential).
• Eager to learn, grow and develop, someone who is curious and shows initiative.
• Technical drawing, schematics, and quality standards understanding.

Job description

Our client is a London based Medical Device start-up business, who are closing in on FDA Approval of their first version of device. They are seeking someone who can grow with them, with long term aspirations to become a Design/Development Engineer within the business.

The role will initially involve working in a hands-on capacity, building, prototyping, and testing devices to ensure they meet regulations. The position of Medical Device Engineer will be best suited to either someone who has recently Graduated or is within the first few years of their career
