Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for Courier Drivers to provide and maintain a professional, efficient and timely courier service with the collection and delivery of Medical Records, Pharmacy, Specimens, Blood, Sterile Services, Post, Parcels, Furniture and other items across Cornwall.

Roles require route planning, confidentiality, and safe driving. Flexible working options around workplace locations may apply; a Full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence (Manual).
• Numerate and literate with basic maths and writing ability.
• First Aid Certificate and health and safety awareness.
• Any courses relevant to job performance and duties.

Responsibilities

• Organise and sort items into route order prior to delivery and during the route.
• Maintain total confidentiality in handling sensitive patient material.
• Ensure all items for distribution are delivered to the correct address by end of day.
• Drive safely and in accordance with road traffic legislation.
• Undertake additional driver training as necessary.
