Job Summary
The EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Medical Affairs Med Info & LCM department is responsible for providing hospital consultants, regulatory agencies and healthcare professionals with scientific and medical information relating to the value and correct usage of our medical devices. The student placement will gain exposure to a wide range of different departments across Johnson & Johnson MedTech and be involved in national, international and global scientific/medical projects. This placement will offer a great opportunity to gain experience in the healthcare sector. The placement is computer-based and does not involve any laboratory work.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Liaising and communicating with many different departments internationally
- Managing projects relating to Medical Affairs in line with business needs
- Working with colleagues in the US and across EMEA to create streamlined processes
- Identifying and reviewing scientific literature to aid the products’ portfolios
- Developing and supporting internal (evidence) trainings
- Creating and sharing monthly reports within the team
- Communicating with customers on J&J research process
- Performing other duties, assigned as needed, providing ad hoc support to Medical Affairs projects in EMEA
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
- Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
Experience And Education
- 1-2 years of Bio Science related degree level study completed
