Medical Advisor / Medical Affairs Specialist / Medical Affairs Manager
Location: Hertfordshire (3 days per week in the office)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing, international pharmaceutical company that is expanding its Medical Affairs function in the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Medical Affairs professional to take on a varied and impactful role within an agile, privately owned pharmaceutical business. With a strong established portfolio and continued expansion into new therapeutic areas, the organisation offers the opportunity to contribute to medical strategy, build relationships with key external experts and play an important role in the development of its UK medical function.
Working closely with the Medical Manager and wider cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the development and delivery of medical strategy, support scientific engagement with healthcare professionals and help shape medical activities across the relevant therapeutic areas.
As part of a relatively small and collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, work closely with international colleagues and contribute beyond a narrowly defined remit.
We are interested in speaking with proactive, curious and commercially aware Medical Affairs professionals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and are motivated by the opportunity to make a tangible impact.
A background as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) may also be suitable, particularly where you have contributed to medical strategy or planning in addition to field-based engagement.
A pharmacy or medical qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. Existing ABPI signatory experience is highly desirable, although candidates with the potential to develop their signatory capabilities will also be considered.
Working pattern: Three days per week in the Hertfordshire office.
