Medical Administrator
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Type: Temporary
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Mon - Fri 9am - 5pm (35 hours per week)

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join a busy healthcare setting on a temporary basis. The role focuses primarily on managing referral appointments and handling all associated administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and experience in a medical or administrative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and schedule referral appointments accurately and efficiently.
  • Liaise with patients, healthcare professionals, and external providers regarding referrals.
  • Maintain and update patient records in line with confidentiality and data protection standards.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, providing excellent customer service.
  • Process and track referral documentation and ensure timely follow-up.
  • General administrative duties including filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Support the wider team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a similar role and EMIS Information Systems is essential. It is vitally important that you are a dynamic and driven individual who is keen to prove their ability to go the extra mile. As you would imagine, great attention to detail and organisational skill will be essential for this role.
