Eurofins is seeking a Media Prep Technician to support onsite laboratories. You will prepare media, sterilize via autoclaves, wash glassware, and maintain sanitation per SOPs. The role includes documenting procedures in logbooks and supporting safety practices.
Ideal candidates read SOPs well, work independently or in teams, and stay organized. Valid US work authorization is required; full-time hours with overtime possible.
To perform all daily assignments to support the media needs of our onsite laboratories and the EML lab in Lancaster. The primary responsibilities will be to prepare and sterilize media for microbiological testing. The position will also include washing laboratory glassware, sterilizing microbiological waste, and disposing of waste post sterilization. Media Prep Technician Duties Include but are not Limited to the Following: The Media Prep Technician receives sufficient authority from, and is accountable to, the laboratory supervisor for the successful completion of assigned duties and responsibilities. The Media Prep Technician has the authority to take action necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of this position, so long as such action, does not deviate from established company guidelines, and is consistent with sound technical and business judgment, and follows the practices of the laboratory.
