Job summary

Revvity is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Mechatronics) to own the full lifecycle of complex diagnostic instruments, from concept through production to handover. You will drive New Product Introduction, ensure high quality, accuracy and performance, and act as the go-to expert for a primary instrument or product group.

You will lead small teams, mentor engineers, plan tasks, manage risk, coordinate with design and suppliers, and help translate requirements into testable specifications.

Qualifications

• BSc, MSc or equivalent degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering is preferable.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in an engineering role.
• Understanding of NPI and volume manufacturing.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Experience with problem solving methodologies (5 whys, Fishbone).
• Exposure to optical systems and precision engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing support and ownership for NPI and product groups.
• Translate product requirements into functional specifications.
• Build and evaluate prototypes.
• Lead small teams and coordinate external consultants.
• Plan projects, allocate tasks and manage risks.
• Develop and maintain documentation and quality controls.
