Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is advertising an RME Mechatronics Apprentice for East Midlands locations. This 36-month fixed-term programme combines hands-on maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems with industry-recognised study, including a full-time residential year.

You’ll work across Fulfilment Centres and other facilities, with accommodation provided if needed during the initial stage. The role requires a practical, problem-solving mindset and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or over before the start date
• Have the right to live and work in England at enrolment
• Have lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
• Must not already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same level
• This is a 36 month fixed-term apprenticeship programme

Responsibilities

• Carry out proactive and preventative maintenance
• Perform reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness
• Make modifications and upgrades to existing equipment
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and long-term improvements
