Job summary

Safran Engineering Services in the UK is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to support developments of Aerospace Cabin interior activities.

You will design 3D harnesses, electrical schematics, and brackets, and ensure integration of electrical systems within aircraft seats, using CATIA V5 and PLM. Collaboration in design reviews with customers, suppliers and OEMs is essential. Hybrid working 2-3 days in Cwmbran, 2-3 from home.

Qualifications

• Experience using CATIA V5, Microsoft Visio software packages or equivalent.
• Experience using CATIA V5 Sheetmetal workbenches.
• Reading mechanical & electrical design drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• 3D harness design, electrical schematics and block diagrams.
• Design Sheet brackets for Electrical Installation.
• Design and integration of electrical systems within aircraft seats to meet requirements.
• Generate 2D/3D electrical installation and systems designs using CATIA V5 and PLM.
