Job summary

Platform Recruitment is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer in the United Kingdom to develop advanced electromechanical positioning and automation systems for high-performance applications. You will work with a multidisciplinary team from concept through production, contributing to design, prototyping, testing and validation.

The role requires experience in mechatronics/robotics/automation, strong problem-solving and CAD skills, with eligibility for UK SC clearance.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar).

• Degree, apprenticeship or equivalent engineering experience.

Overview

An established UK engineering company is seeking a Mechatronics Engineer to develop advanced

electromechanical positioning and automation systems for high-performance applications. Working

with a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will support projects from concept through

production, contributing to design, prototyping, testing and validation.

• Design and develop electromechanical systems and bespoke engineering solutions.
• Support motor sizing, motion control selection and system integration.

Requirements
