Job summary

BID Leamington Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Workshop Engineer to service tooling and ancillary products from their Rugby site. The role includes providing technical information and quotations to clients, with occasional site visits under 10% of the time.

Candidate should have NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, experience with machine tooling, and a solid understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics. Travel requirements are limited and the role offers a competitive package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience servicing tooling and providing technical advice.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is essential.
• Ability to interpret GA and component drawings and work with CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, stripping down, refitting and repairing precision tools and tooling systems.
• Work with GA drawings, explosion drawings and component drawings.
• Utilise CAD drawings and work with hydraulic systems (occasional pneumatics).
• Communicate with customers to provide advice and quotations.
